Program for the 3-day course

Friday afternoon

  • 18:00-19:00      Meeting and getting to know each other. Drinks and snacks provided

  • 19:00-21:00      Introduction to the program, setting the goals of the weekend and a few words
    about the cuisine.

Information about the cost of the program and what it comprises as well as about the possibilities for outdoor activities (i.e. rafting, canoeing - kayak, trekking, climbing, mountain bicycle and archery).

A few words about the lessons; what we are going to do in tapestry-weaving and with the natural dyes.

Presentation of the small loom (frame-loom) on which we will be working and the material that we are going to use for dyeing.

  • Saturday

  • 09:00 - 10:00      Breakfast

  • 10:00 - 14:00      Lesson

  • 14:00 - 15:00      Lunch

The afternoon will be free for relaxation or outdoor activities.

For those who want it, we can go for a walk in the Ladonas gorge and its surroundings in order to identify and collect plants for the natural dyes. Descending to the gorge takes about 30 minutes while going up takes 45 min.

Cooking is an alternative activity (bread making, traditional Greek pies etc.).

The final choice will be decided on the day.

Sunday

The program is the same as for Saturday. After lunch we prepare for departure.
